Job Description
We are looking for a Regular JVM Software Engineer to join a team responsible for Sales and Commission solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of backend applications supporting commercial commission processing. You will work on implementing new business requirements, enhancing existing components, and ensuring high-quality software delivery throughout the application lifecycle.
Main Tasks
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement new business requirements related to commercial commission processing.
- Enhance and update existing system components as part of the continuous software lifecycle.
- Translate technical concepts and specifications into reliable, scalable solutions.
- Create and execute unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization activities.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Commercial experience with Java development.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar database technologies.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and clean code principles.
- Ability to work independently on assigned technical tasks.
- English & Polish proficiency at a communicative level (B2 or higher).
Nice to Have
- Experience with React.
- Understanding of frontend-backend integration.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working within enterprise-scale applications.
