Java Full Stack Developer (Banking)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our banking technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Cloud technologies, with experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. Prior experience in banking or financial services is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular (v10+), HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
• Design scalable backend services with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL, writing optimized SQL queries.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospective meetings.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Microservices.
• Strong experience in Angular (10+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Good understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security).
