Your role

You will play a key role in helping clients navigate the complex and constantly evolving landscape of operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS) cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include advising clients on OT/ICS cybersecurity strategies, implementing robust security controls tailored to critical infrastructure environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as NIST, IEC 62443, and sector-specific regulations, and assisting clients in strengthening their overall OT/ICS security posture while maintaining operational continuity.

You won’t be working alone as you will collaborate with both our global and local teams of cyber professionals, bringing a balanced mix of technical, legal, and business expertise to support you.

As an experienced Cyber professional, you will contribute to client engagements, build trusted relationships with clients, collaborate with teams to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions, help enhance our service offerings, and create innovative approaches to meet growing demand in an international environment.

What You'll actually do:

• Assess and advise our clients both technically and procedurally on improvements within the area of OT security
• Solve hands-on technical OT security challenges concerning the security of operational technology environments 
• Depending on your experience, contribute and possibly lead client projects by developing and implementing cybersecurity solutions and controls tailored to address our clients’ challenges
•  Build and nurture long-term relationships with stakeholders and clients by collaborating closely to understand their business needs and ensuring all engagements meet the highest quality standards
• Support proposal development, including responding to RFPs and contributing to business development activities related to potential projects and engagements

Qualifications

To succeed in this role

To succeed in this role, you must have curiosity, an open mind and solid technical understanding combined with interest in client-facing consulting and managing project delivery. The challenges our clients are facing are often complex, so we must be able to learn new concepts quickly and to find the relevant information from the resources in Finland or within our global network. 

This position is suitable for both those coming from the cybersecurity world with knowledge of industrial environments, as well as those with a background in industrial environments and an active interest in cybersecurity. 

Here are our main requirements for this role, having most of these attributes will help you greatly: 

• Several years of cyber security experience with subject-matter expertise in OT Security 
• Knowledge and experience of operational technology standards and frameworks (e.g. IEC 62443 2-1, 2-4, 3-2, 4-1, 4-2, NIST 800-82, NERC CIP)
• Multi-platform DCS knowledge with deep engineering knowledge of ABB 800xA, Siemens PCS 7, Honeywell Experion, and Valmet DNA systems
• Working knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, DNP3, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, etc.)
• Experience of working with or at manufacturing/industrial organizations 
• Practical knowledge of secure design and implementation of iDMZ, IT/OT segmentation, Internal OT Segmentation, Zone/Conduit concepts, OT cyber control implementation, etc.
•  Familiarity with OT Security tools such as Claroty, Dragos, Nozomi
• Ability to make complex analysis and communicate it in a concise and clear manner, appropriately tailored to people from a very wide range of cultures, technical backgrounds and seniorities 
• Effective interpersonal skills and experience of developing lasting client relationships 
• Completion of at least one OT security related professional certification (e.g. ISA/IEC 62443, GCIP, GICSP, GRID, CISM, CISSP or other) as well as a desire to accomplish them is greatly appreciated

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and in Finnish, both oral and written
• You are required to be currently located in Finland, possess a valid residence permit and eligibility for security clearance (turvallisuusselvitys). We are currently not considering candidates requiring relocation
