JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our EMEA operations and based in the Kyiv, Ukraine. This role serves as a trusted HR partner, providing comprehensive human resources support across the employee lifecycle while ensuring alignment with global HR strategies and local employment requirements. You will work closely with the Head of HR, Global.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include but not limited to:
- Partner with managers and employees to provide day-to-day HR guidance and support.
- Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Support and promote Silvaco's culture, mission, vision, and core values.
- Assist in developing HR goals, initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
- Maintain and update job descriptions to support organizational needs.
- Participate in compensation activities, including salary benchmarking, market analysis, merit planning, and annual compensation reviews.
- Support annual performance management processes, including merit planning and performance review cycles.
- Support employee relations activities, including coaching managers, responding to employee inquiries, and conducting exit interviews.
- Maintain accurate employee records, organizational charts, HR reports, and personnel documentation.
- Assist with HR reporting, workforce analytics, and compliance documentation.
- Evaluate HR programs and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
- Support HR projects and global initiatives as assigned, transactions and reporting.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist role.
- Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required.
- Strong knowledge of Ukrainian labor legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting multiple HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation and HR administration.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting and interpretation.
- Experience supporting annual compensation review processes, including merit planning and salary budgeting.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms with Workday experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience working remotely in a distributed or virtual work environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple time zones.
- Hands-on experience administering or supporting Workday HR pro
