Job Title: Scrum Master – Banking (Cards/Payments)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in the Banking domain, specifically Cards and Payments, to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role requires hands-on Agile expertise, strong stakeholder management, and experience working on enterprise banking initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
- Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team delivery.
- Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics.
- Foster collaboration between business stakeholders, development teams, QA, and leadership.
- Support release planning and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Drive Agile maturity and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with banking business teams to deliver Cards and Payments initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise governance and regulatory standards where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of overall IT experience with 4+ years as a Scrum Master.
- Hands-on experience in the Banking domain.
- Strong experience supporting Cards, Payments, Merchant Services, Debit/Credit Card, or Payment Processing projects.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and frameworks.
- Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or SAFe Agilist certification.
- Experience working in large enterprise banking environments.
- Knowledge of payment networks, card lifecycle management, transaction processing, or digital payments.
- Familiarity with Agile metrics, reporting, and release management.
