This is a 3 month contract position.

Requirements

What you'll do:

  • Provide Level 1 Service Desk support to end users, delivering responsive and friendly technical assistance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic IT issues within agreed service levels.
  • Assist with meeting room and audiovisual (AV) setup and provide light AV support during boardroom meetings.
  • Package, image, configure, and deploy laptops and other end-user devices.
  • Replace monitors and perform other basic hardware installations as required.
  • Manage incoming IT deliveries and ensure equipment is received and accounted for.
  • Maintain an organised stockroom, ensuring IT equipment and inventory are tidy and readily available.
  • Collaborate with the broader IT team to deliver a high standard of support and contribute to positive team outcomes.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in a Level 1 Service Desk or IT support role.
  • Strong customer service skills with a genuine focus on delivering a great user experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across common desktop, hardware, and software issues.
  • Confidence supporting end users both in person and remotely.
  • Experience with laptop imaging, device setup, and hardware deployment.
  • Basic knowledge of audiovisual (AV) equipment and meeting room technology.
  • A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
  • A willingness to undertake light physical tasks, including moving monitors, preparing equipment, and maintaining IT stock.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
