Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (OpenText Unified Functional Test)

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in OpenText UFT (Unified Functional Testing) to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in functional automation, Oracle Forms, and end-to-end ERP validation.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in test automation.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with UFT automation.
• Strong expertise in: UFT (VBScript-based automation) & Oracle Forms and web-based UI automation
• Solid understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
• Experience with automation frameworks and reusable design patterns.

It would be great if you also have

• Experience automating end-to-end ERP business processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash).
• Exposure to data-driven and keyword-driven frameworks in UFT.
• Familiarity with modern automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.

What would you be doing in this role:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using UFT for Oracle EBS and related applications.
• Build and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks and libraries.
• Automate testing for Oracle Forms, web-based EBS interfaces, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with QA, Development, and Business teams to translate requirements into effective automation scenarios.
• Execute batch test runs, analyze results, and identify defects with clear root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain test data strategies to support complex EBS workflows and transactions.

Work Schedule

• Full-time role aligned to IST time zone
• Standard 40 hours per week
