About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join our team in Romania. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing company equipment at client sites across the region. You will serve as a key point of contact between our company and our customers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of equipment at customer sites.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or software issues in the field.
Provide preventive maintenance according to service schedules.
Deliver technical support and training to clients on the use and maintenance of equipment.
Document service activities using internal reporting systems (e.g., service reports, CRM tools).
Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and timely service.
Collaborate with internal teams (technical support, engineering, sales) to resolve complex issues.
Follow company safety and compliance protocols during all field activities.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Field Service Technician, or similar technical field role.
Technical degree/diploma in Electronics, Mechanics, Mechatronics, IT, or a related field.
Good understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and/or software troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good written and spoken English (Romanian required).
Willingness to travel locally (mainly Bucharest and surrounding regions).
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in servicing equipment related to [industry—e.g., healthcare, manufacturing, telecom].
Knowledge of CRM or field service software tools.
Customer service orientation and the ability to work independently.
