We are building the aerospace company that gives Europe independent, sovereign access to air and space.

For decades, Europe's ability to design, build, and launch its own critical aerospace and defense systems has quietly eroded, leaving the continent dependent on others for capabilities that decide its security and autonomy. Momentum Aerospace exists to reverse that. We build the hardware and systems that put strategic capability back in European hands.

We're a small, deliberately team of builders, engineers and operators who have shipped real flight hardware and who would rather own a hard problem end to end than sit inside a large prime's process. We're early, we're moving fast, and the decisions made in the next few years will define whether Europe controls its own aerospace future.

You'll join a team that measures itself against what actually flies, not what fits in a slide. If we execute on our vision, you will have helped build a company that matters to a whole continent.

YOUR MISSION - The problem you will solve

We're moving fast to build hard technology, but our CEO and leadership team are bottlenecked on the strategic and operational work that determines how quickly we can hire, raise, win programs, and ship.

Your role:

  • You will own and drive 2–3 high-impact projects that directly unlock our ability to execute. F rom fundraising and program strategy to standing up the internal systems a scaling company needs.

  • You will remove execution friction for the leadership team by taking full ownership of cross-functional initiatives, from first research through to implementation.

Why this matters: Every project you close lets our engineers spend more time building the hardware and less time fighting the organisation around it. Your work directly shapes how fast Momentum can grow into the company Europe needs it to be.

What success looks like: Within 3–6 months, you will have delivered measurable outcomes. A closed grant supported by your work, a validated program or market strategy, or operational systems that give the team back real time every week.

WHO YOU ARE - Your mindset

You are the type of person who:

  • Thinks like an owner. You don't wait for detailed instructions; you identify what needs to be done and figure out how to solve it exceptionally well.

  • Operates well under real stakes. Deadlines, ambiguity, and consequential decisions focus you rather than unsettle you.

  • Executes with startup speed. You go from insight to implementation in days, not weeks, and you bias towards action.

  • Holds a high bar. For your own work and for the people around you.

  • Shows off results. Not the third conceptional paper.

Your track record

You've already shown you can deliver in fast-paced environments. Through previous roles in crucial industries, by founding your own venture, or by leading substantial university or research projects.

Must-haves

  • Fluent English; German is a strong plus

  • Able to work from our office +5 days/week (with some flexibility)
