Department Overview

The following is an organizational description of the department to which you will be assigned at Rakuten Total Solutions, Inc. to which you will be seconded.

Rakuten Total Solutions, Inc. is in the business of providing a total package of services related to company operations, including planning, start-up, consulting, management and execution of on-site operations, preparation and operation of systems and infrastructure.

The Office Environment Division will utilize the know-how developed within the Rakuten Group to provide a one-stop office design service that connects clients and targets, from planning to completion of construction.

Position Details

You will be responsible for some of the following tasks, depending on your experience and aptitude. 

Project design

- Preparation of various documents (project structure charts, cost control sheets, master schedule sheets)

- Setting up meetings 

- Implementation of tenders 

- Site surveys 

Design

- Office concept development 

- Office layout study 

- Blueprinting/3D perspective preparation 

- Regulatory checks 

Ordering - construction

- Request/confirm competitive quotations 

- Cost management 

- Vendor price negotiation 

- Ordering/conclusion of construction contract

General Affairs Support

- Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) for office operations

- Planning and proposals to enhance internal communication

- Planning and proposals for employee well-being, health, and safety (including BCP measures)

- Support for improving general affairs processes through AI/DX initiatives

Work Environment

We are currently a team of 14. We are actively recruiting to expand our business.

All of team members are mid-career. Our team is composed mainly of individuals with backgrounds in general affairs, as well as those with experience in facility management, office design, and sales.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Working experience (at least 3 years) 

- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

- Able to multi-task

Software Experience
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Personality

- Creative thinkers with a passion for project management and design

- Team-oriented and detail-oriented

Desired Qualifications:

- English language skills at business level or above (TOEIC 800 score or above) 

- Experience in project management and construction management for office construction, etc.

- Experience using various software related to architectural design and interior design (CAD, project management tools, 3D modeling, Adobe graphic design)

*The following software is a candidate for the welcome requirement of experience in software use

*Additional points: we particularly welcome candidates with experience in using software related to office design and project management. The ability to work efficiently and produce creative output using these tools is highly valued.

The employee is assigned to the RM/RTS General Affairs Section, Group Affairs and Facilities Management Supervisory Department, Rakuten Group, Inc. and is expected to be transferred to Rakuten Total Solutions, Inc. immediately after joining the company.
