You will be involved in solving various human resource and organizational management issues that we face as our global business expands. - The position will be in the Human Resources Department of Rakuten, the head quarter of the rapidly evolving Internet industry and the expanding Rakuten economic sphere
- The position requires not only the execution of completed workflows, but also the promotion of business process improvement from a variety of perspectives. You will be able to contribute to the further development of the Rakuten Group by planning and promoting positive business improvement measures in a large company
- The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the global HR strategy in collaboration with the HR departments of Rakuten Group companies not only in Japan but also in other countries. You will manage a wide range of stakeholders and promote large-scale projects

Position Details
1. formulate and implement organizational and human resource strategies in line with management strategies.
2. company-wide personnel planning, company-wide implementation, and execution.
3. Project Management: Planning, execution and management of HR planning related projects.

- Lead project teams and coordinate with stakeholders
- Participation in collaborative projects with other departments such as General Planning Department (Corporate Development)
- Management of cross-functional projects

- Project to strengthen organizational capabilities
- Company-wide personnel planning project
4. Special Assignment: Execution of special assignments, such as decision-making support to solve key issues from management.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience managing consulting firms and large-scale projects
- Experience working in a global environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Business level English skills
 
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in leading projects at consulting firms
- Experience in identifying issues based on client requests and analysis of the current situation, formulating solutions, providing direction and guidance to team members, and producing output
- Experience in leading projects with multinational team members
- Experience in planning and executing projects to enhance organizational strength and competitiveness, improve productivity, and improve management
- Human Resources experience is not required, but is preferred
