The Talent Acquisition Associate will partner with stakeholders across the business and provide end-to-end talent acquisition of high-calibre talent to meet business needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Successfully recruit all key required skills into the organization within the agreed SLA aligned to approved workforce plans.
- Act as a talent advisor and influence and guide the business with knowledge, insights and expertise of external markets.
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to confirm the desired profile and develop a sourcing strategy for the open position.
- Stay connected to a robust pipeline of candidates, maintain long-term candidate relationships, and energetically sell the roles and the organization's mission and brand.
- Lead and manage talent acquisition-related projects, such as employer branding (including career fairs, talent forums, and other events aimed at increasing employer brand visibility and expanding talent reach).
- Ensure the employer brand is fully leveraged and embedded in talent acquisition touchpoints (including candidate and vendor interactions).
- Promote our diversity, equity, and inclusion plans and work with all leaders and colleagues to actualise them.
- Implement efforts to drive exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences before, during and after the interview process.
- Proactively review, against all vacancies, our internal talent pool to place ready-now talent into vacant roles before going out for external recruitment.
- End-to-end responsibility for the recruitment system, ensuring data quality and compliance.
- Manage relationships with external providers, including recruiting firms, institutions of higher learning, and background check businesses, among others.
- Produce reports and statistical data as required to include weekly reporting on recruitment initiatives, talent identified and placed, and challenges faced, monthly reports against workforce plan and other key performance indicators.
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and related courses
- Over 5-6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Ability to influence senior leaders through exceptional communication, strategic alignment and subject matter authority knowledge on market data and standard methodologies.
- Experience in coaching staff and line managers on best recruitment and selection principles/practices and interviewing skills.
- Experience in optimizing processes and ways of working to create a positive employee experience.
- Agile, innovative, pragmatic, commercial, and customer-focused approach.
- Applicable knowledge of and exposure to relevant employment legislation such as Data Protection, labour laws etc.
