Job Description & Summary

At PwC, we help clients build trust and reinvent so they can turn complexity into competitive advantage. We’re a tech-forward, people-empowered network with more than 370,000 people in 149 countries. Across audit and assurance, tax and legal, deals and consulting we help clients build, accelerate and sustain momentum. Find out more at www.pwc.com.

Our Firmwide Corporate Services unite to help build our competitive advantage with first class support internally. Spanning Administration, Business Development, Chairman’s Office, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Learning and Development, Legal, Marketing and Communications, Operations and Change Management, and Technology, we power our lines of services to make sure all of us have the right sources, services and technology to be the best we can be.

Not all of us work directly with external clients. Some of our most talented people choose to harness their skills, experience, expertise and service excellence within PwC. The possibilities are endless and our business landscape is changing everyday.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance is being reinvented — and data, automation, and AI are at the centre of that transformation. Our Finance Data & Systems (FDS) team sits at the heart of PwC's finance function, harnessing modern tools and platforms to elevate how we work, report, and make decisions.

As a Finance (Finance Data & Systems) Intern,  you'll join our Finance Data & Systems (FDS) Team under the Finance Department, supporting the systems and data that power PwC's finance function. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support daily operations. Perform daily operational actions within Finance systems to keep core processes running smoothly.

  • Safeguard data quality. Conduct data quality checks and maintenance to ensure accuracy and reliability across Finance systems.

  • Build insights with data. Help build statistical reports and dashboards (data analytics) and prepare reports that support business decisions.

  • Drive transformation. Contribute to finance transformation initiatives that maximise efficiency — including writing policies, SOPs, and process documentation.

  • Innovate with automation. Get involved in ad-hoc projects and automation initiatives, exploring how technology can elevate the way Finance works.

  • Embrace AI and emerging technology. Use tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and other GenAI platforms to enhance productivity, reporting quality, and knowledge sharing.

  • Learn from the best. Be coached and mentored by experienced finance and data practitioners committed to your growth, with access to PwC's world-class learning environment.

What we're looking for:

We welcome curious, technically minded students who are excited to build a career at the intersection of finance, data, and technology.

  • Finance, Data Science, or Business Analytics students from local or overseas universities preferred.

  • Students from adjacent disciplines (e.g., Accountancy, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics) with a strong demonstrated interest in finance and data are equally welcome to apply.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, or Alteryx would be an advantage.

  • Familiarity with current technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and prompt engineering, is advantageous.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to work confidently with data.

  • Keen to develop yourself in the profession and take ownership of your learning journey.

  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident, and creative, with a growth mindset.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical ideas into clear business value.

  • Service-oriented, with a genuine commitment to teamwork and excellence.

Application Notes:

  • Please indicate your first-choice role and, where applicable, a second-choice role, based on your skills, interests, and career aspirations.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be notified due to the high volume of applications.

  • Kindly upload both your resume and academic transcript/degree audit in PDF format
