Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
This position is responsible for all phases of inventory inbound tracking, receipt, storage, shipment, tracking and returns of finished goods and spare parts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inbound shipment tracking from factories and suppliers, problems resolution and process improvement and follow-up.
- Work with shipping and warehousing suppliers to achieve agreed performance levels (Expeditors, Arvato UPS, Mainfreight and DHL)
- Work with Inventory Planning, Customer Service and Field Engineers to resolve inventory availability issues, warehousing and transportation problems.
- Manage the reverse logistics process and provide logistics support for the return of systems, instruments and accessories, and spare parts
- Ensure timely shipment of all outbound shipments to meet contractual obligations and customer requirements
- Able to resolve receiving and shipping issues
- Review inventory discrepancies for root cause, corrective action, and preventative measures
- Coordinate inventory reconciliation, including initial troubleshooting of 3PL interface issues
- Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Possess high school diploma, bachelor degree preferred
- Possess prior logistics experience in receiving, shipping, and/or logistics operations support
- Familiarity with time critical shipments, sameday and next business day
- Inventory management experience (cycle counts, physical inventory) preferred
- Ability to audit process issues and drive improvements and advantage
- Able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing work assignments while complying with verbal and written instructions
- Prior computer experience (including MS Office products and ERP systems) including SAP. Strong Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This position may be filled at a different job level than listed here depending on
business need and/or on the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge and skills.
Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the
candidate’s qualifications, consistent with applicable law.
