Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Client Incentive Operations (CIO) team in Bangalore, India. The CIO team manages client incentive agreements and ensures accurate accounting in accordance with US GAAP, company policies, and contractual terms. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and collaboration across Finance, Sales, Legal, and regional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client incentive agreements, ensure accurate contract interpretation and determine the appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Set up, maintain and review incentive contracts in Visa systems, ensuring all contractual obligations are accurately captured.
- Manage, track, review, and process contractual payments accurately and on time.
- Monitor contract performance and maintain forecasts, amortization schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and review reconciliations, reports, and supporting schedules for financial reporting requirements.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Legal, regional hub and IT teams to resolve issues and support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis, projects, and business initiatives.
- Provide guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing support to junior team members.
- Meet established operational and reporting service level commitments.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager
Qualifications
- CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant accounting, audit, finance, or operations experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement and process efficiency.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle-based applications is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI and automation tools, including the ability to develop and apply analytical models, prompts, and workflow solutions to improve productivity, reporting quality, and business processes.
