About the job:
Job Purpose & Objectives
Provide operational assistance to the Equity Derivatives and Macro Trading and Sales teams in Hong Kong, including Structured products life cycle management, trade capture, client service, P&L reporting,
cash management and break reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
Process Life Cycle Management of the Structured Products (Fixings, Corporate Action), notify clients and ensure smooth settlement by Operation team
Ensure accurate trade capture and confirmations are sent to clients of various flows
Collect KYC doc to initialise account opening for new broker requests
Reconcile breaks between frontend systems and backend data. Resolve any trade discrepancies with various parties (trading desk, client, broker, settlement…)
Perform trade reconciliations and follow-up on any discrepancies
Perform regulatory reporting where necessary
Work with front office and IT to enhance system functioning
Report on performance and potential issues to direct management, and more generally support management as and when required
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor degree
Knowledge & Skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong risk and control mind-set
Strong IT Skills (Python, VBA)
Language
Fluent in English
Other Skills (e.g. Interpersonal, Communication etc)
