Role Summary
The Associate – BI Reporting & Analytics Experience role is an entry-level position within the Marketing Science Operations (MSO) team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about transforming data into intuitive, visually compelling, and actionable business insights.
Beyond traditional reporting, the role focuses on designing user-centric dashboards, improving stakeholder experience, and leveraging modern analytics technologies to enhance decision-making. The candidate will work closely with analytics, data engineering, and business teams to build scalable reporting solutions while ensuring data quality, governance, and operational excellence.
LIVE | WHAT YOU WILL DO
As an MSO BI Reporting & Analytics Experience Associate, you will work under the guidance of Senior Associates and Managers to support reporting, dashboard design, data quality operations, and analytics enablement.
You will:
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and other visualization platforms.
Apply visualization and storytelling best practices to create intuitive, user-friendly analytics experiences.
Support development of self-service reporting capabilities that enable faster business decision-making.
Assist in data extraction, transformation, and preparation for reporting and analytics use cases.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and QA checks to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
Monitor data refreshes, reporting completeness, and pipeline health in collaboration with Data Engineering teams.
Help define and document KPIs, metric definitions, business rules, and reporting standards.
Identify opportunities to improve dashboard usability, automation, and stakeholder experience.
Explore emerging technologies, including GenAI-enabled reporting, natural language querying, automated insight generation, and conversational analytics.
Support recurring reporting cycles while continuously improving reporting efficiency and scalability.
Identify data issues, anomalies, or gaps and coordinate resolution with engineering and analytics stakeholders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's (3–6 years) or Master's (2–4 years) degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience developing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
Strong understanding of reporting, KPIs, and business metrics.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into reporting and visualization solutions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with SQL, data preparation, or analytics workflows.
Understanding of dashboard design principles, data storytelling, and user experience concepts.
Exposure to Power BI semantic models, Tableau data models, or modern BI architecture.
Interest in GenAI applications for reporting, automated insights, or conversational analytics.
Familiarity with data governance, reporting standards, and analytics operations.
Exposure to DevSecOps, incident management, or reporting production support processes.
Experience in healthcare, pharma, or regulated environments is a plus.
Strong curiosity, attention to detail, and passion for creating impactful analytics experiences.
