SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Manage and communicate demand planning activities across various supplying sites by initiating production plans based on system demand and anticipated customer orders for all four segments. The role ensures alignment with site strategies, operational targets, and local, regional, segment, and corporate objectives and guidelines.

  • Prepare short- and long-term forecasts in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing for all four segments. Regularly measure forecast accuracy and proactively implement corrective and preventive actions as required.
  • Develop realistic procurement and despatch schedules by analysing customer demand and translating this into actionable plans, balancing OTIF, inventory levels, shipping capacity, and cost considerations.
  • Develop and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to your area, and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the planning process by making full use of existing Matrix functionalities and introducing new best-practice approaches aligned with the Jotun Operations System.
  • Foster effective communication with Production Sites, CSD, and Sales teams to ensure optimal information flow for daily planning activities.
  • Oversee the phasing in and out of products, ensuring that the site maintains accurate Master data within Matrix.
  • Participate and contribute to monthly Sales and Operations meetings for all segments and markets to maintain focus on customer demand and deliver high-quality service levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, production planning.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; proficient in English, advanced Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Strong planning and analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player who can collaborate effectively across departments and supply sites
