Are you an experienced Site Supervisor with a proven track record of overseeing construction activities on major infrastructure projects? You will support the delivery of nationally significant D&B infrastructure projects in Ireland including metro, aviation, rail, water and highway schemes, ensuring site activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements.

Your new role
As Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in the on-site delivery of major infrastructure works in Ireland, including metro, aviation, rail, water and highways schemes. You will work closely with contractors, designers, and client teams to ensure construction activities meet programme, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
You will act as the client’s representative on site, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance, and supporting the resolution of issues to maintain delivery momentum.
Working pattern
This is a site-based role, with a majority of projects delivered in and around Dublin.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Supervising day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and standards
- Monitoring contractor performance across safety, quality, environmental and programme requirements
- Supporting the delivery of works to agreed time, cost and quality targets
- Reviewing and interpreting drawings, method statements and risk assessments (RAMS)
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with health, safety and environmental regulations and project requirements
- Recording site progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to reporting processes
- Identifying, escalating and supporting the resolution of risks, issues and non-conformances
- Coordinating with contractors, designers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and interface management
- Supporting inspection, testing, and commissioning activities as required
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring best practice is upheld across all site activities
About you
- Experience in a site supervision role on major infrastructure or construction projects (e.g. rail, metro, highways, utilities or aviation). Enabling works experience preferable
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and site-based delivery
- Experience working in a client, consultant or contractor environment with responsibility for site works
- Understanding and application of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to identify issues and support practical solutions
- Experience supporting quality assurance, inspections and compliance activities
- Knowledge and experience of NEC4 contract suite, and commercial awareness
- Relevant technical qualification (e.g. engineering, construction management) or equivalent experience
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. EI, ICE, CIOB, ICES) or working towards accreditation
