Role purpose:
Develop and provide timely and reliable product, channel, customer performance analysis and insights for the Vision Care business across Japan, collaborating with sales organization. Also to highlight risks and opportunities, relying on Internal and external data concerning sales results, Gross Margin (GM), Gross to Net (G2N), Sell-in & Sell-Out, Market Share, and other industrial factors.
Major Accountabilities:
Reporting to Japan Pricing Senior Manager in implementing pricing strategy through in-depth analysis. Also to analyze/manage revenue by tiers/channels, implement sales programs/initiatives for relative tiers to achieve optimized top-line and margin.
Planning commercial offers/rebate programs and track/follow-up with sales team
Manage by customer pricing / rebate programs, and implementation
Update Trade Terms based on current agreements, list price, and reported actuals.
Update of competitive landscape
Support the review of reported data quality, and recurrent ASP/share analysis.
Provide insights through analysis of internal & external data
Analyzing/Tracking the effectiveness of implemented promotional activities
Ad-Hoc analysis to support Senior Management
Experience requirements
Background in financial/price management/analysis of 3-5 years combined with strong business/commercial acumen.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint. Power BI, Power Pivot, ThinkCell and any other business analytics tools experience will be beneficial.
Experienced managing and analyzing large and complex datasets. Also to summarize analytical findings and communicate insights simply.
Experienced in working across functions and matrix organizations, strong ability in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a great variety of people. (Will be reporting to Japan-based manager)
Language requirement: Japanese (Fluent). Business level English a nice-to-have
