Base Salary HEO 5, $93,345 p.a. - $104,515 p.a. + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The University of Sydney Business School is seeking an Administrative Officer (Online Teaching Allocation Focused) to work within the School of Business Analytics and Marketing with a primary focus on Online Teaching Allocation system and processes and casual academic onboarding to the administrative officer will support delivering teaching and research excellence, and initiatives including enhancing student experience. This includes assisting with the coordination of teaching and curriculum processes including timetabling, venue and meeting scheduling, examinations and informal appeals,
Key responsibilities will be to work with academics, research partners and colleagues across the University to:
manage the casual academic onboarding process and enter data in OTA
administer, effectively plan, manage and distribute teaching responsibilities for online delivery
provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the School, including coordinating teaching and curriculum processes, processing casual academic payments, assisting with events and international visitors, maintaining knowledge of staff roles, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
provide proactive day-to-day administrative support to the school by managing enquiries, maintaining records, ensuring adherence to policies and directing stakeholders to appropriate services
continually enhance administrative systems for efficiency and consistency including recommending process improvements
maintain School website, social media and noticeboards
undertake other ad hoc duties as required.
About you
We are seeking for an exceptional Administration Officer (Online Teaching Allocation Focused) who has:
previous experience and knowledge of Online Teaching Allocation System (OTA)
previous experience and knowledge of casual academic onboarding process
advanced skills with Microsoft Office, , Concur and UniBuy and experience with Workday, Timetabling, Canvas and Swift Digital
exercise initiative and strong problem-solving skills
ability to understand and action your tasks appropriately and in a timely manner
continuously assess and make suggestions for improvements to administrative practices and processes
ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently and develop productive relationships with other professional and academics in the Business School
excellent time and workload management skills with the ability to manage interruptions and changes to work priorities to achieve deadlines and required outcomes
experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service.
