This is an outstanding opportunity for Norwegian-speaking professionals looking to advance their careers within the fast-paced and ever-evolving social media industry, where your language skills and analytical mindset will directly contribute to creating safer, more trustworthy online environments. If you are passionate about digital safety, content integrity, and social media platform governance, this Norwegian Speaking Digital Trust and Safety Analyst position in Bulgaria could be the career-defining move you have been waiting for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, assess, and moderate user-generated content on social media platforms in Norwegian, ensuring full compliance with established community guidelines, platform policies, and legal standards.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate potentially harmful, abusive, or policy-violating content, including misinformation, hate speech, graphic material, and fraudulent activity across social media channels.
  • Analyse patterns of suspicious behaviour and coordinated inauthentic activity on social media platforms, providing detailed reports and actionable insights to the Trust and Safety leadership team.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including legal, policy, and product departments to continuously improve content moderation frameworks and digital safety protocols within the social media environment.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive case documentation, tracking decisions and outcomes in internal content management systems to ensure consistency and accountability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in social media trends, emerging digital threats, cybersecurity risks, and evolving online safety regulations relevant to the Norwegian-speaking market.
  • Provide culturally informed, context-sensitive analysis of Norwegian-language content, applying a deep understanding of Norwegian cultural nuances, regional expressions, and online community behaviour.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, quality calibration exercises, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to ensure the highest standards of trust and safety performance are consistently maintained.

Requirements

  • Native or fluent Norwegian language proficiency (both spoken and written) is essential for this role, as you will be reviewing and analysing Norwegian-language content on a daily basis.
  • A valid EU passport is mandatory for employment eligibility and relocation processing purposes.
  • A genuine interest in digital safety, online content moderation, social media governance, or a related field within the technology or media industry.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound, well-reasoned judgements under pressure and within defined timeframes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the resilience and professionalism to handle sensitive, graphic, or disturbing content in a responsible and objective manner.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to a professional working level, enabling effective communication within a multilingual, international team environment.
  • Previous experience in content moderation, trust and safety, customer support, or a related digital media role is considered a strong advantage, though motivated candidates without prior experience are also encouraged to apply.
