We’re on the lookout for a seasoned Regional Inventory Controller to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Logistics ANZ, you’ll take charge of spare parts inventory across multiple regional warehouses and field locations - ensuring stock is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. Your work will directly support field service managers, site managers and elevate our service delivery performance across VIC, WA, SA and Tasmania.
What will you be doing?
Manage spare parts and new elevator / lift inventory across regional warehouses and field sites.
Lead and influence internal stakeholders to adopt inventory best practices that drive efficiency and reduce costs.
Support field service managers by ensuring the timely availability of critical spare parts.
Maintain accurate inventory data and system records, ensuring material movements and issue resolution activities are well documented.
Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure efficient warehouse and transport operations and adherence to agreed service levels.
Lead regular and ad hoc stocktakes, ensuring inventory accuracy and audit compliance.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Analyse inventory data to identify trends and drive improvements.
Collaborate with demand planning, procurement, and logistics teams to align inventory strategies.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems and reporting tools.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards across all inventory locations.
What are we looking for?
Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field desired
5+ years of experience in inventory management, ideally in spare parts or service logistics.
Demonstrated experience managing 3PL providers and warehouse operations.
Proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders and drive process improvements across teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Proficiency in ERP (SAP), CRM, and inventory management systems.
Flexible and open to travel across Vic, SA, WA and Tasmania as required.
Ability to work in a fast paced, commercial environment.
