As a Minor Safety Analyst supporting our global technology client, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable users by meticulously reviewing and processing reports related to safety and abusive incidents that may pose a risk to minors. This position involves conducting thorough open-source and in-platform investigations to pinpoint harmful behaviors, identify threat actors, and assess potential risks. The analyst manages high-volume analytical workflows, ensuring that all findings are documented with precision while adhering to strict deadlines. They create clear and concise written summaries and investigative reports for both internal teams and client stakeholders. In addition, analysts work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requests are handled efficiently and according to established protocols

This role will cover Tuesday-Saturday 9:00 am-5:00 pm local time.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and process abuse and safety incident reports, particularly those involving potential harm to minors, while following established operational procedures.
  • Conduct open-source and in-platform investigations into behavioral abuse and threat actors to identify techniques, context, and impact.
  • Support analytic workflows by documenting findings clearly, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and consistency.
  • Produce concise written summaries, briefings, and investigative reports for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members, cross-functional partners, and vendor teams to ensure requests are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of investigative workflows and knowledge resources.
  • Participate in team training sessions, shadowing, and peer review to build professional expertise and investigative capability.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in trust & safety, behavioral abuse investigations, or related intelligence/research work.
  • Familiarity with open-source research (OSINT), social media investigations, or online risk analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and objectively.
  • Understanding of online behavioural threats, influence operations, or content-moderation principles preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases under tight timelines and maintain attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of the intelligence or investigative lifecycle, including data validation and source evaluation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., International Relations, Criminology, Cybersecurity, or Communications) or equivalent practical experience.
