Location: Jeddah, KSA.
Working Arrangement: on-site.
Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken).
Nationalities: Saudi nationals.
We are seeking a Saudi National Data Engineer – Talend to support the ongoing operations, maintenance, and optimization of existing Talend ETL/ELT pipelines across a 4-month project. The role will focus on ensuring reliable data integration, troubleshooting pipeline issues, maintaining data quality, and supporting deployment and operational activities to ensure the stability and performance of enterprise data integration platforms.
Key Requirements
- Saudi National.
- Proven experience working with Talend ETL/ELT tools and data integration solutions.
Other Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple operational activities in a production support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and support Talend ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure reliable and timely data integration.
- Track job executions and resolve ETL failures, operational incidents, and performance issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve platform reliability.
- Resolve data quality, reconciliation, and integration issues while ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Develop and implement minor enhancements, workflow improvements, and performance optimizations for existing ETL processes.
- Support deployment activities and production releases for Talend jobs and workflows.
- Manage operational incidents through ticketing systems and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and operational standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
- Collaborate with data engineering, infrastructure, and governance teams to ensure stable, secure, and efficient data integration operations.
