Senior Staff Engineer, Java with React

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience: 7.5+ years
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and React.js.
• Good working knowledge of Python, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum, JIRA, and software development best practices.
• Ability to write clean, tested, and maintainable code with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within India and overseas as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement application features using Java and React.js.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and support backend/frontend development.
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code while following coding standards.
• Support UAT, defect resolution, deployment activities, and update JIRA tasks regularly.
• Create technical documentation including API specifications and release notes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
