About the Role:
The ICT Support Specialist provides advanced technical support while maintaining and improving CDC's ICT environment. The role combines senior service desk and systems administration responsibilities, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services, while supporting users, mentoring junior team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deliver advanced technical support across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking, and application issues.
- Administer and support Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Defender, and Copilot.
- Manage service desk operations, resolve complex incidents, and act as the escalation point for technical issues.
- Support endpoint management, MDM, ICT assets, desktop deployment, and device lifecycle management.
- Implement and maintain Power Platform solutions, including Power Automate, Power BI, AI Builder, and Copilot Builder.
- Contribute to infrastructure support, including networking, DNS, file services, and Windows server environments.
- Partner with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to deliver technology improvements, upgrades, and migrations.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, user training, and technical documentation to enhance team capability and service delivery.

About You:
You are an experienced ICT professional with at least 5 years of experience in ICT Support or Systems Administration roles. You are a proactive team player, keen to take initiative to solve ticket issues when they arise and able to step up to anticipate end user requirements.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong experience troubleshooting complex application, infrastructure, and end-user support issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 technologies, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune, and Windows 11.
- Experienced in endpoint management, ICT asset administration, and technology project delivery.
- Excellent customer service, stakeholder engagement, communication, and mentoring capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of networking fundamentals and PowerShell scripting highly regarded.
Essential:
Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
