As the Facilities & Workplace Experience Specialist, you will take ownership of day-to-day workplace operations, vendor relationships, onsite services and employee activations at our Great Northern Way Guest Services office. You will play a key role in bringing the space to life, ensuring it runs smoothly for employees and guests while creating a workplace experience that feels welcoming, organized, connected and reflective of our brand and culture.
In this role, you will act as the key Facilities & Workplace Experience lead for the location, working closely with the on-site teams to support operational needs, coordinate workplace priorities and help the space function at its best each day. You will also partner closely with the Events & Activations team and other People & Culture partners to deliver employee moments, onsite engagement and activation needs within the space.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the overall experience of a new workplace environment for Arc’teryx. This role is based out of our Great Northern Way office and is expected to be performed on-location – with some crossover days at our North Vancouver offices. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Facilities & Workplace Experience team operates in strategic partnership with the business to lead global real estate, capital projects, workplace operations and the overall experience for staff and guests. Through the continuous evolution of our physical working model and a dedication to service, we provide safe, welcoming and inspiring environments that support our people, our teams and the way the business works.
In this role, you will be part of the Facilities & Workplace Experience team, with a close partnership to the Employee Activations team, a key pillar of the Global People & Culture Enablement and Experience team. Together, we help bring Arc’teryx culture to life through thoughtful employee moments, workplace programming, events and activations that create connection, energy and belonging across our spaces.
### If you were the Facilities & Workplace Experience Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
Acting as the primary onsite Facilities & Workplace Experience contact for the Great Northern Way office, ensuring employees and guests have a safe, welcoming, functional and well-supported workplace experience
Building strong working relationships across business units, partners and stakeholders to understand workplace needs and support the location effectively
Responding quickly and effectively to workplace requests, ensuring issues are resolved with timely, thoughtful and quality service
Maintaining vendor, contractor and landlord relationships to support smooth day-to-day operations across office services, supplies, maintenance and workplace needs
Supporting the planning, coordination, communication and delivery of facilities maintenance, workplace improvements and projects
Conducting regular workplace reviews and identifying opportunities to improve operations, service delivery, overall experience and workplace quality
Supporting security and health & safety efforts to ensure compliance and maintain a safe workplace for everyone
Partnering closely with the Employee Activations team and People & Culture partners to plan and lead onsite programming, employee moments, activations and events within the space
Coordinating and executing workplace activations, including space setup, tear down, scheduling, catering coordination, workplace postings and onsite logistics
Maintaining inputs and ensuring visibility to the GNW programming and activations calendar to ensure the right operational support, vendors and cross-functional partners are in place for upcoming activities in the space
Coordinating employee activation communications where required, including onsite signage, workplace postings and operational updates tied to events or programming
Staying connected to workplace experience trends, hospitality standards and employee engagement best practices to help continuously improve how the space is operated and experienced
Deliver regular project/workstream status updates and reporting to leadership, proactively identifying risks and roadblocks to ensure seamless planning and delivery across all activations and initiatives
Supporting other office projects, tasks and duties as needed, with flexibility to adapt as the location and business needs evolve

### Are you our next Facilities & Workplace Experience Specialist?
You have 3+ years of experience in facilities, workplace experience, events, operations, project coordination or a related field
You are a strong problem solver who can assess what is needed, take initiative and follow through with practical solutions
You enjoy variety in your work and are comfortable moving between workplace operations, employee activations, vendor coordination and cross-functional support
You are social, approachable and able to build strong relationships with teams, guests, vendors and partners
You bring a service-minded, hospitality-focused approach to creating a positive employee and guest experience
You are highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
You communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
You are comfortable supporting workplace communications, including signage, digital updates, slide decks, emails and operational messaging
You have experience coordinating with vendors, contractors or external partners to deliver services, events or workplace needs
You are collaborative, proactive and able to move work forward as priorities shift
You are comfortable using technology platforms such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, Excel, MS Project, OfficeSpace or similar tools
You handle confidential or sensitive information with care and discretion
You look for opportunities to improve how things work, seek the best solution and bring a bias toward practical action
You are passionate about the brand, the products we make and getting outside to live it
### Compensation:
The salary range for this role is CAD$62,000 - CAD$81,000

This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
