Interested in joining a top performing asset manager? We’re looking for an experienced Market Onboarding Analyst to join the Product Transitions team. The team oversees the operational set up, launch, and restructure of CC&L’s investment funds. Partnering closely with investment teams, custodians, brokers, legal and compliance, and operational teams, the team manages over 100 fund transitions annually. This role offers broad exposure to the full fund life cycle including fund launches, market access, trading operations, and regulatory requirements. CC&L’s affiliates trade in over 50 countries spanning developed, emerging and frontier markets across equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate global market openings by partnering with custodians, prime brokers and internal teams to establish and maintain trading access.
- Track market and broker setups to ensure timely completion and communicating requirements and deadlines to stakeholders.
- Complete required market onboarding documentation and regulatory requirements with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate beneficial ownership reviews and regulatory disclosures with external fund custodians.
- Monitor and respond to evolving global market access requirements and trading regulations.
- Support fund launch and transitions initiatives by aligning counterparty capabilities with investment strategies.
- Participate in product and operational meetings to provide updates on market opening progress and counterparty developments.
- Utilize Smartsheet, SharePoint, and S&P Global Counterparty Manager for project tracking, reporting, and coordination of deliverables.
What You Bring
- Industry Knowledge: 3+ years of global market opening experience in operations at an investment manager or a global custodian. Experience with investment products and knowledge of financial markets would be an asset.
- Interpersonal: Collaborative and team-oriented approach to working with others. You work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and are comfortable with collaborative and direct communication.
- Effective Communications: Demonstrated ability to provide succinct written and verbal communication. You are confident and comfortable expressing opinions and making decisions.
- Critical Thinking & Reasoning: You have an analytical and creative mindset. You thrive at solving problems and making sound decisions under pressure.
- Accountability & Resourcefulness:You own what you do, are dependable, can figure things out, all while working in an autonomous environment.
- Organization: You are organized and can manage multiple tasks and projects while staying on track with deliverables and exhibiting strong attention to detail. You can set priorities and meet strict deadlines.
