As the technical SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for your projects, you secure the technical solution, documentation quality, cost follow-up, and compliance—from initial analysis through on-site execution.
🛠️ Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Engineering & Realization
- Review technical documentation (internal/external) and identify missing information.
- Clarify requirements, make sound assumptions, and propose the best technical solution.
- Produce the required technical documents and calculations to justify the solution.
- Coordinate and follow up with engineering contributors to ensure quality, timing, and consistency of deliverables.
- Attend technical meetings, site inspections, and on-site work when needed.
- Support internal stakeholders before and during execution to ensure robust implementation.
- Manage sourcing of external vendors (material, installation, etc.) in line with the project budget.
- Track project costs and report deviations (+/-).
- Ensure compliance with local laws and applicable guidelines.
- Verification & Approval
- Align with the Functional Manager to obtain conceptual approval of the technical solution.
- Ensure all technical documents follow the correct approval flow according to engineering guidelines.
- Verify/approve documents within your authorized scope and competence level.
- Administration & Knowledge
- Ensure project information and documentation are properly stored.
- Register working hours and project costs on a regular basis.
- Share technical knowledge, participate in trainings, and continuously develop your skills.
Qualifications
👤 What we’re looking for :
- Engineering degree (mechanical, electromechanical, industrial engineering or equivalent).
- Experience in project engineering / industrial projects / execution environments.
- Strong ability to analyze technical documentation, structure assumptions, and produce calculations.
- Detail-oriented, hands-on mindset, ownership, and clear communication with internal teams and suppliers.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site activities.
