Job Description

As a Global Product Development (GPD) Representative, you will take ownership of customer inquiries for innovative tag and label solutions tailored for the textile sector. You will evaluate our current portfolio to find immediate answers or partner with internal engineering and development teams to engineer new possibilities. 

Key Responsibilities

This is a hybrid position based at our Saray plant.

  • End-to-End Sample Management: Quickly and efficiently handle sample and pricing requests using input from Hub GPD, LO Offices, Sales, and Customer Service.
  • Cost & Material Optimization: Determine the most cost-effective production methods and raw materials during the sample development phase to ensure high quality and value engineering.
  • Global & Local Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with the Global Product Development Hub (Hub GPD), Procurement, Planning, and Production teams to prepare new label references for mass production.
  • Oracle Front End & Cloud System Management: Maintain system integrity by using OFE for pricing generation, updating standard costs, and running weekly reports to resolve error logs.
  • Pre-production Setup & MDI Archiving: Execute pre-production raw material procurement, set up production schedules, and archive sample development data into the MDI database.

Qualifications

  • Technical & Engineering Background: Technical background with an understanding of engineering principles and production challenges.
  • Commercial & Analytical Acumen: Commercial awareness with a high numerical aptitude for data analysis, pricing, and cost management.
  • Problem-Solving: Solution-oriented mindset, capable of identifying and addressing potential obstacles proactively before making decisions.
  • Professional Experience: Experience working with cross-functional or global product development teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Textile industry understanding, knowledge of the labeling sector and familiarity with product development workflows are preferred.
  • Communication & Competencies: Fluent in English and Turkish (written and verbal), with a strong focus on customer-centricity, attention to detail, and resilience.
