Job Description:
We are seeking a Principal Cyber Software Engineer to support an advanced analytics mission designing and developing innovative software solutions that address complex mission challenges. In this role, you will collaborate closely with mission stakeholders to analyze requirements, architect scalable solutions, and deliver high-performance applications supporting advanced analytics and cybersecurity objectives. The ideal candidate for this role will enjoy working close to the operating system and be well-versed in low-level programming languages. Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
- A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and eleven (11) years or relevant experience is required. A Doctoral degree (PHD) and seven (7) years, a Master of Science (M.S.) degree and nine (9) years, or an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree and thirteen (13) years of experience is also acceptable.
- Strong proficiency with object-oriented languages like Python and the ability to read and understand C/C++ and x86 Assembly.
- Experience working with operating system internals, including memory management, file I/O, and system APIs.
- Experience with software architecture and technical design.
- Experience with executable program analysis, debugging, and low-level software development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with malware analysis and reverse engineering.
- Familiarity with protocol analysis and network communications.
