Experience: 1215 Years Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager (CBU Tech) to lead the engineering health and delivery enablement for consumer-facing technology channels. This role operates at the intersection of engineering management and delivery governance, ensuring that tech teams are structurally empowered while freeing Tech Leads to focus on execution and feature delivery. The role requires strong ownership of engineering teams across mobile, web, commerce, and AI-driven platforms, with a focus on capacity planning, talent management, and delivery readiness. The ideal candidate will act as the backbone of engineering operations, enabling scalable and predictable delivery across channels.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Health & Capability Management - Own overall engineering health across consumer channels (Mobile, Web, Commerce, AI). - Drive capacity planning, utilization, and demand-supply alignment. - Manage attrition, hiring pipeline, onboarding, and workforce stability. - Ensure availability of the right skills and roles aligned to programme needs. Tech Leadership Enablement - Conduct regular 1:1s with Tech Leads to ensure alignment, support, and issue resolution. - Enable Tech Leads to focus on delivery by removing operational and organizational bottlenecks. - Provide support in team structuring, role clarity, and ownership models. Delivery Support & Execution Enablement - Ensure delivery teams are fully equipped and structured for execution readiness. - Work closely with Programme Leads / PMOs to align capacity with delivery plans. - Support resolution of cross-team dependencies and resourcing challenges. - Enable predictable delivery outcomes without directly owning day-to-day execution. Talent & Workforce Management - Drive hiring, onboarding, and ramp-up plans in line with programme expansion. - Monitor team performance, engagement, and retention. - Support capability development and succession planning within engineering teams. Governance & Operational Discipline - Establish visibility into engineering metrics (capacity, utilisation, attrition, skill gaps). - Drive structured reporting and governance for engineering health. - Ensure alignment with organizational processes, compliance, and quality standards.
