Job Description

MISSION :

As Senior Credit Analyst you produce and monitor debtor risk assesments and carry out buyser visits and/or in depth interview.

This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney. The final location will depend on the successful candidate’s location.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect company information through research, phone interviews (in-depth interviews) and/or field visits (DVR tasks) to get in-depth and update financial, business and credit information in order to assess their current situation upon request from the DRA team
  • Credit research, in-depth analysis on financial ratios and situation, provide financial analysis, debtor risk assessment (DRA) to the company, with regular monitoring on company information to ensure information consistency
  • Provide input to Regional Manager to continuously improve procedures and workflow of the DRA quality
  • Maintain company’s shareholding structure in the system
  • May be assigned to manage other tasks including but not limited to
    • production of DRA using the Coface proprietary model
    • monitor sensitive files, send warnings on specific events to the Credit lines
  • Strive to deliver the service quality to be in alignment with the agreed service level to ensure Coface’s competitiveness in the market place
  • Monitor special industry sectors to be assigned, produce reports on them, and provide regular updated review on those sectors
  • Engage in special projects and provide monthly reports

Qualifications

  • University graduate with major in Business Studies, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
  • Functional background in credit risk management with strong knowledge in financial statement analysis
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the Credit Risk Management business
  • Experience in information company on information search and collection a plus
  • Detail oriented, be able to deliver timely and quality output
  • Mature, responsible, independent, self-motivated yet a team player

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Good Microsoft 365 knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, M365 Copilot) 
  • Strong credit analytical skills
  • Capable of communicating with business people at all levels in an interview situation
  • Excellent communication abilities with good command in English
