Job Description

IPAR have a fantastic career development opportunity for the role of State Manager in a Full Time basis.

As a State Manager, you will provide leadership and management to IPAR leaders and staff across Queensland & Northern Territory, driving business growth, profitability, quality, human resourcing initiatives and marketing activities, ensuring that business objectives are met. Presence across our QLD & NT branches will be required for this role.

Location of role is flexible for the right candidate.

Key accountabilities include: 

  • Leadership development, workforce planning, managing people risk, workplace culture
  • Local customer management and business development. Local product/customer innovation
  • Financial/business performance to budget, forecasting, P&L management, commercial decision making and State MBT performance
  • Approval management of incentives to ensure calculations are correct and in line with the most up to date plan

Qualifications

Applicants with:

  • Strategic management experience as a senior manager of occupational rehabilitation services
  • Commercial acumen to drive divisional growth, profitability, quality initiatives and marketing activities.
  • Strong human resource management acumen, including people risk identification, recruitment, compensation, workforce planning, employee engagement and performance management.   
  • Excellent financial analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to determine strategies to identify and solve anomalies/problems.
  • Outstanding leadership expertise within large teams across geographically dispersed locations.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities to manage competing deadlines.
  • Advanced national knowledge of personal injury rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation.
