The Marketing Coordinator contributes to the development and delivery of marketing initiatives, providing support to the broader marketing team and reporting directly to the Head of Marketing. 

Operating at a National level, this role ensures the smooth running of business-as-usual activities by maintaining shared digital tools, coordinating marketing collateral logistics, and managing aggregate performance data. 

A primary focus of this role is executing centralised activity across our venues, community management, and monitoring social media and review channels across the venue portfolio.

Here's a snapshot of the Marketing Coordinator responsibilities:

  • Assist the marketing team in the implementation of localised marketing initiatives, including preparing materials, creating content, and coordinating logistical elements.
  • You will also support the upload and maintenance of owned digital channels like social media and digital listings, alongside our digital asset library.
  • Support marketing campaigns end-to-end, collaborating with relevant stakeholders for effective execution. This involves supporting the process of ordering, preparing, and distributing marketing collateral, including POS, digital screens, and visual merchandising materials.
  • Verify that marketing materials align with established brand guidelines, company policies, legal requirements, and relevant regulations like ABAC and RSA/RSG.
  • Assist with the monitoring of social media and customer review channels across the portfolio, ensuring swift response efficiency and escalating messages where appropriate.
  • Collect and organise marketing performance data for reporting purposes. You will summarise key learnings and insights to directly inform future campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team and assist in communication between internal stakeholders and marketing. 
  • Remain flexible and work cross-functionally with the broader marketing team to support initiatives outside of your core role when needed.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • 1–2 years of experience working in a dedicated marketing environment is highly desirable, and previous experience within the hospitality industry is a big plus.
  • You hold a tertiary qualification, preferably in marketing, or have equivalent professional experience.
  • You bring a basic familiarity with social media platforms and digital tools, with experience managing and optimising owned digital channels like social media, digital listings, website content, and apps.
  • You have a strong eye for detail with the ability to identify and flag basic issues or discrepancies, consistently upholding brand standards and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions. 
  • You possess strong stakeholder management skills, working collaboratively with positive influence to build productive relationships across a wide range of business touchpoints.
  • You put the customer first in everything you do. 
  • You bring a growth mindset that encourages creative ideas, horizontal leadership to enhance outcomes with peers, and personal leadership to adapt your style effectively to different environments.
