Design Engineer

Job Description

We're looking a Design Engineer for our New Innovation Center in Nuevo Leon, you will work with cross functional teams to support product engineering projects within a structured design/development process. Your design work will support our continuous improvement and cost reduction plans to improve the health of our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with product engineers to develop design specifications and drawings to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements
• Support design engineering on assigned projects
• Support teams in problem solving and failure analysis
• Support team to ensure robust designs are delivered
• Actively participate in Design Reviews / DFM / DFA for new products
• Continuously improving processes, skills, team environment and tools necessary to achieve FBIN product leadership strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required
• Fully Bilingual 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience to include design engineering (CAD)
• Experience with 3-D Parametric Solid Modeling (Solid Works is a plus)
• Collaborative problem solving techniques for geometric dimensioning and tolerances
• Analysis of component / assembly tolerance stack-up’s.
• Written and verbal communication skills for dealing with multiple levels of staff, customers and suppliers
• Ability to perform detail-oriented work accurately
• Time management, prioritization & analytical problem solving                                                                                     
• Adaptable, able to adjust to ongoing changes and improvements
• Self-motivated and collaborative                           
• Good written and oral communication skills
