Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cycle Counter to join our team in Park City, United States. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory management system. As a Cycle Counter, you will conduct regular physical inventory counts, verify stock levels, and ensure that our records align with actual on-hand quantities. This position requires precision, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Perform accurate physical inventory counts of products and materials according to established cycle count schedules
- Record inventory data using barcode scanning systems and inventory management software
- Identify and document inventory discrepancies, variances, and potential issues
- Verify product quantities, locations, and conditions during counting procedures
- Reconcile physical counts with system records and investigate any differences
- Prepare detailed cycle count reports and documentation for management review
- Communicate findings and discrepancies to warehouse and inventory management teams
- Maintain organized and legible records of all counting activities
- Follow established inventory control procedures and company policies
- Assist in resolving inventory issues and supporting corrective actions
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Proficiency with inventory management software and barcode scanning systems
- Solid understanding of inventory control procedures and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and work with inventory reports and documentation
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and reconciliation tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Ability to work independently and meet established productivity standards
- Physical capability to perform counting tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and procedures
