Here at Kinisla we're currently recruiting for a Quality Systems Coordinator on a fixed term basis (maternity cover) based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland.

You will provide support to the Quality Systems Team in Europe region and will be responsible for the management and generation of regional and global KPIs. The role also includes the day to day release of products from the warehouse, managing stock of lab consumables (including PPE) and any other related administrative tasks, using systems such as SAP.

Requirements

  • Product Release – based on successful micro and analytical testing
  • Internal Reporting - Complete and update internal weekly, monthly KPI reports
  • External Reporting - Complete and update customer monthly/quarterly KPI reports
  • Pest Control – maintenance of PCO portal information
  • FS&Q team administration
  • Customer complaint and external storage handling
  • RM Approval documentation review
  • Maintain product inspection schedules, trending and investigations as required
  • Maintain EMP inspection schedules, trending and investigations as require
  • Shelf-life sample analysis
  • Customer portal alerts
  • General QMS communication with all internal stakeholders
  • Complete internal QMS audits
  • SOP writing and training of document to staff
  • Manage stock ordering and POs for technical department
  • Deputise for the QS manager where required
  • Any other reasonable requests for the business

Qualifications and skills

•  Education Diploma or higher in a Food Science related subject.

•  Fluency of English language Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data.

•  Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems

•  Knowledge of the BRC Global Food Standard and specific customer standards as they apply.

•  Experience in basic RCA and Practical Problem-Solving tools.
