We at Coforge are hiring Senior Mainframe Developer (#22039) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, and VSAM.

· Analyze business requirements and implement scalable, high-quality software solutions.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mainframe applications with .NET and SQL-based systems.

· Perform application maintenance, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support while ensuring system reliability and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in Mainframe application development.

· Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, CICS, and VSAM.

· Experience working with SQL databases.

· Knowledge of .NET technologies and integration with legacy systems.

· Experience with Raincode or similar mainframe modernization technologies.

· Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

· Experience in application support, debugging, and performance optimization.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with legacy modernization initiatives.

· Knowledge of financial services or lending platforms.

· Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

· Familiarity with source control and version management tools.

· Exposure to cloud integration and modernization projects.
