🎯 About the Role

In this role, you will join TeamMooFit as a Junior Frontend Developer, playing an active part in supporting the ongoing development of Horizon, Lely’s core farm management solution deployed to tens of thousands of dairy farms across the globe. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive business impact by aligning modern frontend solutions with software goals, contributing to Lely Turkey’s continued growth and success.

What is your role?

• Supporting the ongoing development of Horizon, Lely’s farm management solution, that is deployed to tens of thousands of dairy farms across the globe
• Obtaining and maintaining an in-depth understanding of dairy farm business processes
• Implementing new features and maintaining the existing code base
• Improving the overall architecture of the Horizon application by for example modularization
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing performance improvements
• Guaranteeing high code quality by for example performing code reviews and implementing unit tests
• Providing technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
• Participating in detailed project planning and design reviews
• Translating functional requirements into technical requirements
• Identifying and disseminating “best practice” in development and maintenance of applications and systems
• Writing technical documentation on implemented features and APIs

⚡ What is your experience?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field
• Proficient with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks
• A big plus: Experience with Angular
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive web design
• Strong knowledge of consuming and integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data streams
• Familiarity with source control tools (Git)
• Experience with frontend Unit Testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Jasmine, Karma)
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle
• A plus: Experience with reactive programming and state management libraries (e.g., RxJS, NgRx)
• A plus: Understanding of frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, Angular CLI) and familiarity with Azure DevOps or setting up automated frontend deployment pipelines
• A plus: Experience with component-driven development or micro-frontends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English both spoken and written
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Open to learning new technologies
