About the role

You will form part of a talented cross-functional squad focused on solving important user Jobs to be Done related to digitized identity and trusted information. Reporting to the Principal Product Manager, you will own a product portfolio aimed at adding trust to the hiring process for specific claims and user segments.

As part of your squad's leadership team alongside co-leaders from Engineering and Operations, you will work collectively to shape the roadmap, design, delivery and optimization of product features within your remit using SEEK Pass's shared leadership model. You will develop deep knowledge of SEEK and SEEK Pass strategy, translating this into product strategy, vision, roadmap and OKRs for your squad in ambiguous problem spaces where direction, scope and sequencing need definition.

This role requires building deep understanding of user and customer needs through research, rapid prototyping and feedback while promoting design practices aligned with SEEK's Design Principles. You will collaborate closely with squad team members, other SEEK Pass product managers, sub-domain and functional leaders, the SEEK Pass leadership team, and various SEEK teams including Product, Strategy, Commercial Excellence, Sales and Marketing. 

Responsibilities

  • Own product portfolio adding trust to hiring process for specific claims and user segments with end-to-end accountability.
  • Develop deep knowledge of SEEK and SEEK Pass strategy, translating this into product strategy, vision, roadmap and OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) for your squad.
  • Contribute to SEEK Pass overall strategy by acting as subject matter expert for your product portfolio.
  • Build deep understanding of user and customer needs through research, prototyping and feedback promoting good design practices.
  • Develop high-performing team empowered to evolve product portfolio based on deep knowledge of users alongside squad leadership.
  • Identify and deliver product improvements solving important candidate and hirer Jobs to be Done strengthening value proposition.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across SEEK group establishing effective cross-team collaboration when dependencies emerge.
  • Understand and provide visibility of product performance including metrics assessment, experimentation and driving measurable impact.
  • Stay informed about industry, government and competitor moves incorporating insights into future product decisions.

Qualifications

Skills and experience

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams delivering innovative products in high uncertainty environments, aligning multiple teams around shared direction.
  • Experience defining product requirements, tracking performance, exploring drivers and diagnosing issues with strong analytical approach.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across functions, build rapport, deliver proposals and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making informed by strategic and commercial acumen, managing priorities and identifying critical high-impact trade-offs.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and proven ability to solve complex problems using logical and data-driven approaches with attention to detail.
  • Well-developed presentation and interpersonal skills with interest in innovation, familiarity with agile practices, and marketplace experience desirable.
