We stick together and combine a brutal hands-on mentality with fun at work! It means shaping the future of outdoor travel and building an ecosystem for sustainable outdoor travel.
The role - your passion
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
As our Parts Control & Service Specialist, you'll keep our RV repair operations moving by making sure the right parts are in the right place at the right time. You'll identify the parts our techs need, place and track orders, manage our parts inventory for all North America locations and keep our Dallas-area shop supplied and organized to send inventory to our stations across North America. and on schedule.
This is a parts-and-inventory role at its core, with about 10-15% of your time spent supporting the shop floor directly — so a little mechanical know-how goes a long way. You'll spend most of your day owning the flow of parts in and out of our station, and some of it alongside the techs working on the same vehicles you supply.
What you'll do:
📦 Parts Ordering & Inventory Control (the bulk of the role)
Maintain our computerized parts catalog and keep an accurate, running inventory of regular and special-order parts and supplies
Identify the right parts from technician inspections, photos, and damage descriptions — reading exploded diagrams and OEM schematics
Source and order parts for our multi-brand RV fleet, identifying appropriate suppliers for both standard and special-order items
Place and track purchase orders, coordinate with vendors, and monitor lead times to keep repairs on schedule
Obtain quotes for larger purchases and route non-routine orders to [your manager] for approval
Help identify cost-effective options — OEM, aftermarket, or repair — in line with company guidelines
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for correct quantity and quality
Dispense parts to technicians and process internal service and repair requests from the shop
Process invoices for payment and maintain accurate records
Maintain accurate item master data, inventory records, and stock levels
Stay current on pricing, parts changes, and technical service bulletins through collaboration with vendors and internal teams
Look for ways to improve parts tracking, stock accuracy, and cost control

Other duties as assigned
🔧 RV Technician (about 10-15% of the role)
Your main task is to keep our vehicles on the road in terms of traffic safety and customer satisfaction
You share responsibility for the technical condition of our RVs
You independently perform minor repairs on our vehicles and pass on your knowledge to station employees so that they can carry out repairs themselves to some extent
You actively participate in shaping your work environment, are enthusiastic about new projects, and contribute your ideas
Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
Knowledge in trade field (Automotive, HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) and plus
Track parts and materials used in every repair (closing the loop with your parts-side work)
Support and learn from senior techs and station staff
Other duties as assigned
What makes you a great fit
You like solving problems — whether it's fixing something or figuring out what's needed to fix it.
You're hands-on but also detail oriented. You're comfortable juggling multiple orders, vendors, and priorities at once
Have a passion for recreational vehicles and possess the solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical issues, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems. A successful technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs
You can read a parts catalog and an exploded diagram and figure out exactly what's needed
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
You take ownership and don't wait to be told what to do
You're comfortable switching between turning a wrench and coordinating a supply chain
