Objective of the Role

Act as a strategic financial advisor to business leaders, embedding financial insights into operational decisions and long-term planning. This role fosters cross-functional collaboration, drives value creation, and ensures financial sustainability across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Product, and Tech teams to evaluate financial impact of initiatives, campaigns, and pricing strategies.
  2. Lead business case development and financial modeling for strategic projects, pilots, and new product launches.
  3. Provide financial recommendations to leadership on resource allocation, investment prioritization, and pricing decisions.
  4. Facilitate planning cycles by integrating financial perspectives into strategic roadmaps and OKRs.
  5. Monitor performance against budget and forecast, identifying drivers of variance and proposing mitigation strategies.
  6. Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic positioning and margin optimization.
  7. Support decisions related to customer profitability, working capital, and operational efficiency.
  8. Promote financial literacy and accountability across business units through training and coaching.
  9. Collaborate with Data and Strategy teams to align KPIs and ensure consistent performance tracking.
  10. Serve as finance liaison for external consultants, supporting audits, tax matters, and regulatory compliance.
  11. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting standards.
  12. Influence cross-functional teams by translating financial insights into strategic actions.
  13. Represent Finance in cross-functional governance forums, ensuring alignment between financial goals and business execution.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  2. Location: Monterrey
  3. Experience: 1-3 years in financial business partnering, or strategic finance roles.
  4. Strategic thinking and stakeholder management
  5. Strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities
  6. Excellent communication and storytelling with data
  7. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  8. ERP system knowledge and process improvement mindset
  9. Fluent in English (oral and written)
