Pavements Engineer

Job Description

Due to continued growth across our Transport business, we're looking for a Pavements Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with 1–5 years of experience who is looking to further develop their technical skills while working alongside some of Australia's leading aviation and ports specialists.

You'll contribute to the design and delivery of pavement infrastructure across a diverse range of projects, including airports, ports, defence facilities and transport infrastructure. Whether your experience comes from aviation, ports, highways or industrial pavements, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your expertise within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

How you’ll make a difference 

• Deliver pavement design and engineering solutions across aviation, ports and transport infrastructure projects.
• Assist with pavement investigations, rehabilitation strategies and technical assessments.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, drawings and design documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.
• Support project delivery from concept design through to construction support.
• Continue developing your technical capability through mentoring, training and exposure to nationally significant projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Between 1 and 5 years' experience in pavement engineering or transport infrastructure.
• Experience in aviation or ports is highly regarded, although experience in highways, heavy-duty pavements or industrial infrastructure will also be considered.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery.
• A genuine interest in developing your career within a global engineering consultancy.
