Quanta is an AI-powered finance platform built for fast-growing companies. Every company relies on accounting as its source of truth, but the tools today are manual, fragmented, and not designed for how modern businesses operate. We're building the system of record for finance - one that owns the data layer and uses AI to automate and abstract away the operational burden. The result is a real-time, intelligent financial backbone that goes far beyond traditional accounting software.
Our team brings together deep expertise in both finance and engineering. We've built accounting systems at Affirm, ledgers at Stripe and Robinhood, launched products from 0→1, and scaled systems that process billions of dollars in transactions. We've also lived the operational pain ourselves - building finance teams, closing books, and navigating the complexity of modern accounting.
We don't believe great software comes from guessing what customers need. We believe it comes from working alongside them. Today, we operate directly on our customers' accounting workflows. That gives us an incredibly tight feedback loop between customers, product, and engineering. We see where systems break, where judgment matters, and where automation creates real leverage. Every product decision starts with real workflows and real pain points.
Our ambition is bigger than building another accounting tool. We're creating the Operational Ledger - a new financial foundation that helps businesses understand their operations with the accuracy, context, and speed that modern companies deserve.

The Role
We're looking for our founding recruiter to build one of the most important functions at Quanta.
This isn't a recruiting role where you'll inherit mature processes and spend your time filling open reqs. You'll define how we hire, help shape who we hire, and build the systems that enable us to scale while maintaining an exceptionally high talent bar.
We're growing fast and every hire matters. You'll partner directly with our founders and hiring managers to build exceptional teams across engineering, product, design, operations, GTM, and beyond. You'll help define what great looks like, identify and close outstanding talent, and build a candidate experience that people genuinely remember.
You'll also own the recruiting infrastructure that supports our growth—from Ashby and sourcing strategy to interview design, scorecards, recruiting analytics, and employer brand. You'll continuously improve how we hire so recruiting becomes a competitive advantage for Quanta.

What You'll Do
Own full-cycle recruiting from kickoff to close across Engineering, Product, Design, GTM, Operations, and future teams
Build creative sourcing strategies that consistently attract exceptional talent for difficult-to-fill roles
Design structured interview processes, scorecards, and debriefs that help us make high-quality hiring decisions
Build a candidate experience that is fast, thoughtful, transparent, and reflects the way we operate as a company
Own and improve our recruiting operations, including Ashby, sourcing tools, recruiting analytics, and reporting
Continuously identify bottlenecks, improve funnel performance, and raise the quality of our hiring process
Help shape Quanta's employer brand through job descriptions, recruiting content, social media, and candidate messaging

5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a high-growth startup environment
Proven success hiring exceptional technical talent, with experience recruiting across multiple functions
Excited to build from zero. You enjoy creating systems, improving processes, and figuring things out without a playbook.
Outstanding closer who understands what motivates candidates and builds trust throughout the hiring process
High bar for candidate quality. You value making the right hire not making a fast hire
You obsess over candidate experience and sweat the small details because you know they shape how people perceive the company
Exceptional sourcing skills, you know how to find people that others can't
Strong communicator who can confidently represent Quanta to candidates at every stage
Highly organized and able to manage multiple searches while keeping hiring teams and candidates informed
Analytical enough to diagnose funnel problems, identify patterns, and improve recruiting performance over time
