Kitchen Attendant - Part Time

Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Kitchen Attendant who enjoys working as part of a team. You will play an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. Supporting our chefs across à la carte dining, room service and buffet operations, you'll help maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen while contributing to exceptional guest experiences. 

Offering the award rate of $26.44 per hour plus applicable penalty rates, this role offers a great development opportunity to grow your skills and confidence in a hotel in the heart of Melbourne's conferencing precinct and to be a part of the global Accor community.  You must have Australian working rights and availability across several days/shifts to be considered for this role. What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment and utensils
• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure a continuous supply of clean kitchenware
• Assist with basic food preparation and stock handling as required
• Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS standards at all times
• Support the Kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

About You! You are reliable, hardworking and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. You'll also have:

• Previous kitchen or stewarding experience preferred
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Excellent attention to cleanliness and organisation
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
• A team-focused attitude with a willingness to go the extra step to create great guest experiences
• Valid Australian Working Rights / Visa is essential
