Guidacent is seeking a Functional Implementation Specialist to help our public sector client with a migration to Epic. The Functional Implementation Specialist supports the design, build, and optimization of Epic workflows across clinical and operational domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze clinical and operational requirements
  • Configure Epic modules (e.g., Ambulatory, Inpatient, Orders, ClinDoc, Cadence)
  • Design and optimize clinical workflows, order sets, and documentation templates
  • Collaborate with clinicians and SMEs to align workflows to best practices
  • Support testing (unit, integration, UAT) and go-live readiness
  • Assist with workflow standardization across agencies

Required Qualifications

  • Epic certification in relevant modules
  • Experience supporting Epic build and workflow design
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows
