Position

As a Senior Accountant, you play a key role within our Finance team by ensuring accurate accounting for several Belgian and international group entities. Besides managing day-to-day accounting activities, you contribute to optimizing financial processes and take ownership of the Order-to-Cash process. Your work directly supports reliable financial reporting and the continued growth of our international organization. 

Responsibilities

• Manage the general accounting for multiple Belgian and international group entities.  

• Process purchase invoices, employee expense claims and sales invoices.  

• Perform treasury activities and monitor daily cash flow.  

• Execute monthly closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations.  

• Prepare VAT returns and other statutory tax declarations.  

• Own and continuously improve the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process, including customer payment follow-up.  

• Support the CFO and Finance team with ad hoc financial analyses and projects.  

• Drive process improvements and help optimize accounting workflows within the ERP system. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent through experience.  

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in an international environment.  

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, VAT legislation and tax regulations.  

• Experience with process improvement and a continuous improvement mindset. 

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.  

• Experience with Odoo and/or Officient is a plus.  

• You communicate fluently in English, Dutch is a plus.

• A proactive, hands-on team player with a high level of ownership and the ability to work independently.
