Job Description
As a Golf Cart Attendant, you play a vital role in the smooth and safe operation of our golf cart fleet. Your responsibilities go beyond transportation—you ensure carts are clean, charged, staged, and fully prepared for the sales team and guests. You will also use designated systems to track cart usage, manage keys, and maintain accountability. By following S.W.A.G. standards, the First and Last Rules, and demonstrating courtesy and attentiveness at all times, you directly contribute to an exceptional guest and team member experience. You will demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members.
As a Golf Cart Attendant, you will:
- Greet guests and owners using First and Last Rules while operating the golf cart according to S.W.A.G. guidelines.
- Stage carts in the proper staging area, ensuring they are fully prepared for the sales team—including keys, cleanliness, and readiness for immediate use.
- Use the designated system to log cart status, track cart movement, and record which team members take carts from any designated area.
- Detail carts each morning, including cleaning seats, body, floors, wheels, and tires as needed.
- Maintain and clean carts throughout the day to ensure they remain presentable and safe.
- Ensure carts are charged and properly plugged in for the following day.
- Stay attentive and “ready” to assist any team member or guest promptly.
- Report all lost and found items immediately to the Sales Manager, Guest Relations Manager, and Security.
- Return carts to the storage area, remove trash, inspect for damages, and report issues.
- Wash and detail carts as requested by management.
- In inclement weather, transport the sales team and their guests using property vehicles while following all safety guidelines.
- Assist the Bell Service team.
